Flight Check was created as a response to the growing negative public image of TSA. Increasingly estranged from the organization, travelers valued less its necessary security measures and instead focused on inconvenience and invasion of privacy. A unified system inspired by peace of mind, clarity and guardianship was created to target the customer facing side of security. The brand seamlessly transitions through print, web, environmental, infographic, and service design, featuring a combination of bright imagery and functional information. Empathizing with broad user groups and diverse types of traveler needs, many pieces were designed for ease of use, cross-cultural communication, and with accessible interfaces. Specific messaging was used to ease the process such as value propositions, lollipops for children, sanitation stations, easy guides, lines dedicated to specific traveller needs, and in-flight animations.
