HOSTESS SOCIAL MEDIA
An iconic brand, Hostess was challenged in balancing multiple platforms to create one, new voice. By extending the core brand attitude of “surprise and delight,” I led a team through re-energizing the brand voice across networks to promote interaction and brand affinity. Highlighting their unique point of view, we created various storylines to communicate with our social and online audiences throughout holidays, real-time events and promotions. Staying true to their playful tone of voice, I worked with a writing partner to compose what we affectionately deemed “Tasty Wisdom.” I created growth strategies from competitive and social audits during the research and observation phase, connecting insights to direct and increase engagement. Directing a team of designers, we were able to create a strong social presence for a loved national brand.
