An experiment in teamwork and storytelling, Vie Magazine was created to address a new sub-culture of woman. She is part of a growing audience made of young, professional women, who are athletic yet stylish with long-term life goals as well as short term ambitions. Vie is designed for the active woman, someone already committed towards being fit and focused on improving or maintaining her lifestyle, offering editorial content and knowledge to help readers push themselves. An approachable, trainer tone is achieved through referential material on fitness, adventure, life essentials, social awareness, and wellness. The visual language relies on masculine typographic structures balanced with feminine, inspirational photography. While, sharp angles and experimental layouts connect it’s design to the active woman it’s speaking to. The result: Vie speaks to the new, modern woman, who balances a professional career, healthy family, and workout routine.
